Me and Grace: so-called 'chinese food'

When the starving students are depressed, they don't care anything anymore....
This is the cheesecake I made for Grace's 20th Birthday! And this is the strawberry cake that Misi and I made for Dilyana's 20th Birthday!

It is not that bad, is it?
When I am too concentrated on food, please don't take picture of me.

Afterall, food does mean a lot to me. Not only because of the pleasure and satisfaction, but it is about the gatherings with friends and lover. Food and sweets taste much better when we make it and eat it together.

Oh, dear dad and mom and brother, I wish I could cook for you more often.

Cihan szerecsetlenkedik a biciklivel

Tegnap tortent egy kis balesetet. Valaki elutott az utca kozepen....es majdnem elestem. Hat, nem voltam tul merges, de akivel voltam igen. utanna ment . A vegeredmenyrol most nem nyilatkozom, de nem volt veres :) A kedves Holland termeszetesen nem kert bocsanatot, es mi, mint intelligens emberkent mar nem is foglalkoztunk vele. :) Az a lenyeg, hogy nem esett semmi bajom. Es egyre magabiztosabban biciklizek hollandiaban... Jo, lehet a kepeken nem latszik....

Nem nagyon akartam elindulni...De valahogy sikerult....

Weird things in Rotterdam. Despite these T-shirts, I also found a book titled 'Hugnarian in the Netherlands since 1956', of course, written in Dutch.

We had dinner in a Chinese fastfood resturant. You might probably realize that I didn't really appreciate the taste of it. Fortunately, Dilyana is 'flexible' enough to enjoy it.

We also went to the Boijman Museum which is said to be one of the best in whole Europe. My favourites were Dali, Grassi and Man Ray probably.....

We should go next time to Den Haag...

Kinai uj ev :) :) :) Foztem egy kicsit.

Es mivel nagyon 'jo' volt az ido, elloptam egy par kepet a amerikai baratnomtol. Most ebben a varosban lakom. :)

Sokan voltunk. :) A vegen mar nem volt eleg kaja mindenkinek. Misi seigtett tesztat csinalni. Eleg ugyes keze van. Nagyon vekony lett :)

Magyar vs Holland

o....nem a foci meccserol akarok irni.

Mar itt vagyok Hollandiaban par honapja, elkezdek gondolkodni, hogy mi a kulonbseg ket nep kozott. Mivel szeretek enni, kezdjuk a kajakkal.

A magyar nep arra hires, hogy depresszios(bocs), ezt mindenki tudja. Ezert regibben tudtak 'szomoru vasarnap' cimu filmet rendezni. Minden beszelgetesben a fele panaszkodas. De megis az elet olyan magyarorszagon, mint egy sved bufe. Tele vannak valasztekkal, csabitassal, es az ember mindent szivesen kiprobalni. Addig eszik ameddig kedve tart. Es ha eltunik az etvagyat, kicsit pihen es amikor ujra jon a vidamsag, kezd enni megint. Amikor eltelik, barmikor meghalhat.
Hollandiaban pedig teljesen mas a mentalitasa. Az itteni elet inkabb olyan mint egy draga vacsora egy 5 csillagos szallodaban, mindenki lassan es csendben eszik. Eloszor jon a leves, aztan a starter, foetel es utolag desszert. Lepesrol lepesre. Elegansnak tunik, de rutinos is. Raadasul talan sosem eszik eleget. En azt latom Hollandiaban a latvanyos gazdasag es az ember udvariassag mogott egy kifeszitett kotel. Akar hiszel akar nem, itt Hollandiaban vannak legtobb pszihilogusok.

Itt is van sok depresszios ember. ( sok osztalytarsaim szed anti-depression) Lehet, hogy csak maskkeppen szomorkodnak. Meg nem tudok pontosan miert es hogyan, mert csak rovid idot toltottem itt.

Adj kis idot.

Mindjart Karacsony....

Nem a kedvencem unnep...de mindegy, nem leszek otthon m-on.

Itt leszek Middelburg-ben, egyedul ,mert mindeki haza fog menni.

Legalabb tudok pihenni, es van egy par olvasnivalo a konyvpolcan:
Girl with Pearl Earring, Captain Corelli's Mandolin, John Irving: the fourth hand...stb.

Ma beszeltem a szuleimmel. Anyu meg mindig azt kerdezte, hogy fuveztem-e. Jo, hogy mindig nemet tudok mondani.

Azt akarja, hogy hazamenjek diploma utan. Nem mertem Neki mondani, hogy itt maradok Europaban. Igaz, tobbszor gondoltam a csaladomra es a baratokra. Es neha almodok a otthoni kajakrol es szornyen hianyzik az ejjel nappoli bolt hongkong-ban, ahol hajnali 3-kor is meleg kajat lehet kapni.

De ezek az emlekek kiportolhatoak. Mar regota nem fozok mergezo kajat. Es a konyhaban mindig van 5 kilo rizs. Ehen nem halok. De az osszes emlekeim Europaban...itt vannak, es itt is lesznek. Budapesten es Egerben majd nem minden masodik sarkarol tudok meselni valami tortenetet. Mit csinaltam ott, kivel es mikor. Lehet, hogy mar nem is letezik az a ember akivel voltam ott, lehet, hogy mar nincs meg az az erzes, de a kep tokeletesen megmarad.

Ha mindenkettot akarok: csalad es europa egyutt, ugy kene csinalnom, hogy a munkam orszagilag rugalmas legyen. Es mindig a cegnek kell kifizetni az utikoltseget. De hogy lehet olyan munkat talalni?

Hat, csak ugyesen.
(legyek szerenyebb? ok.....mar volt ilyen munkam, remelem lesz meg ilyen lehetoseg.)

Mar reg nem voltam bulizni. Miert ne?
Regibben a csoportunk is negyen voltunk: belga, magyar, sved es en.
Most pedig: holland, amerikai, bolgar es en.

Valami miatt mar nem annyira elvezek a bulizast mint regibben m-on. De azert jol esett egy kis tancolas. Amikor meglattam a kepeket, rogton megegyeztem idopontot a fodrasszal. Szoryu hosszu volt a hajam. De most mar NEM!

Nagyon hianyoztok. Mindenki m-on. Eskuszom nem csak a Tokajira gondolok.
Visszajovok. Nem sokara....

Egyebkent Februarban lesz drama eloadas itt Middelburgben. En is fogok jatszani. Ki jossz engem megnezni?

My last days in Xiamen

I am leaving in two weeks. I can already foresee how much I am gonna miss this place. The sea view out of my window, my lovely air-conditioner, the hotness and dust on the street, the sweating bodies, the stinky chinese people...and the dirty resturant without licence. (where actually I used to have supper there)


See what I found in the market! Of course, it was the stinkiest place I've ever been!
But it was the first time in my life that I see shark meat.
